http://www.flyingdogblog.com is celebrating (?) the anniversary of Hunter S. Thompson's death. I tried to read one of his books, couldn't get into it, subsequently don't know much of anything about him. In my mind he's one of those people, like Jack Kerouac, that mostly straight boys like (well, a few non-straight boys liked Kerouac as well).
